This year we made 2 trips to Westminster at the invitation of Nick Clegg our MP.  Dore Democrats from the past 2 years went this term as we had to cancel during the heavy snow in 2010. It was a great surprise when No. 10 opened up and Nick Clegg came out and chatted to us on Downing Street and answered questions :)

In the past 2 years our parent led Growing Club has transformed the school grounds with regular weekly lunchtime clubs and occasional Saturday sessions where lots of families come and help.  We have planted around 3000 bulbs in this time!  See more pictures

At the end of March the Y5s enjoyed a brilliant residential at the Hollowford centre in Castleton. Many activities were packed into the 2 days .....  a long walk, rock weaseling, caving, high wires, zip wire, team building and problem solving,  and LOTS OF FUN!
