A Sporting Day Out

Our year One children recently had the opportunity to go to King Ecgbert School where they took part in lots of different activities and games, organised by some of the older children at the school.

All the children had a great time and behaved very well. Here are some of the comments that they made about the day.

Charles said, "I liked all of it because I made some new friends and the best race was the egg and spoon race." Katie also enjoyed the eggand spoon race. She said, "I liked the egg and spoon race and the sack race. I made some new friends. My friend was called Rachel. I also liked the skipping."

"I liked the conga and running. I made some new friends." said Jack. Abigail also really enjoyed herself. "I liked the egg and spoon race and the skipping race and the sack race and the conga race." 

     Chloe M said, " I liked the skipping race, it was easy. I liked the hurdles as well." Emily liked making new friends. " It was really fun and I made some new friends, one was called Emily. My favourite races were the skipping and running."

Victoria said, " I liked the skipping race and the running race. I made some new friends from Totley." Natasha said, " My best part was the water race. I also liked the hurdles and the running race, the conga race and the egg and spoon race."
