One very cold and frosty morning was the inspiration for a group of our year four children to go up to the wildlife garden and investigate the spectacular frost covering the trees and plants there.

 

They used magnifying glasses to see 'up close' the delicate structure of the frost which was very beautiful to observe. Once back in the classroom they followed their outdoor session with an art lesson linked to what they saw.
