Mr Stewart and Mr Broadhead (one of our SCITT trainees) have bee working on a special project, funded by Nottinham University, on portraits.

Children in both Y5 classes have been given special sketch books and new art materials to enable them to create portraits in different styles . This is the first completed work in a series. The final self portraits will be displayed at an outside venue and the best will be here on our web site.

These portraits were created by taking a dital photograph and then cutting it in half. The child then drew in the missing half of their face. The results are remarkable.
